K Real Estate recently announced their partnership with Gold Star Scholars to help Gold Star Families in need. Based out of Georgia, Gold Star Scholars is a nonprofit dedicated to helping the families of fallen service members. A Gold Star Family is one that has lost a loved one in the war against terrorism.
Get to know Gold Star Scholars
Losing a loved one can place a severe financial strain on a family among other hardships. Gold Star Scholar’s goal is to provide resources to help families achieve their dreams, no matter what those may be! Some families will contact GSS for help locating a mentor in the field they wish to work in while others may need a scholarship for college. Gold Star spouses and children can contact Gold Star Scholars for scholarships, community networking, or mentorship.

There are Gold Star Families in every state, and Gold Star Scholars would love to continue to expand their reach of mentors and resources.
